What a TikTok Shop agency costs
Retainers, commission and hybrid models explained, plus the questions that expose a weak proposal.
Yes, this is our list — here is exactly what we would compare, and how to judge anyone on it, including us. Every other agency is described fairly, every Somerce number links to its source, and the framework at the end lets you re-rank the whole thing yourself.
Choosing a TikTok Shop agency in 2026 is harder than it should be. The market has filled with agencies of every shape: TikTok-only specialists, multi-channel social shops, influencer networks that added a commerce arm. This guide ranks seven of the strongest UK options and, more usefully, gives you the framework to tell them apart. One disclosure up front: Somerce wrote this list and Somerce is on it, first. Where we make claims about ourselves, they are verifiable numbers with sources on this site. Where we describe other agencies, we stick to what they demonstrably do well and let you draw your own comparisons. The long-form companion, covering scoping, pricing and onboarding, is our complete UK agency guide.
| Agency | Best for | Core focus | What to verify on the call |

| 1. Somerce | TikTok Shop run as a full trading channel, LIVE at the core | TikTok Shop only: LIVE, affiliates, content, paid media, shop management | Our numbers are published: $2.7m record LIVE, £100m+ GMV managed, 12 studios |
| 2. The Social Shepherd | TikTok inside a broader paid and organic social programme | Multi-channel paid social, creative and influencer marketing | How shop trading, LIVE and affiliate operations are staffed day to day |
| 3. Socially Powerful | Global social campaigns with an influencer engine behind them | Global social and influencer marketing across platforms | Which market team runs TikTok Shop and LIVE daily, and where |
| 4. Fanbytes by Brainlabs | Gen Z influencer campaigns backed by a large media group | Creator campaigns with Brainlabs paid media infrastructure | TikTok Shop GMV results alongside the campaign metrics |
| 5. House of Marketers | TikTok-first influencer marketing campaigns | TikTok influencer campaigns and TikTok advertising | What happens after the video: affiliates, shop operations, LIVE |

Best for: brands that want TikTok Shop run as a full trading channel, with LIVE at the core.
We put ourselves first for three reasons you can check. First, the record: Somerce ran the $2.7m single-LIVE world record on TikTok Shop with P.Louise, delivered in 14 hours. Second, scale: £100m+ GMV managed across 80+ brands including L'Oréal Groupe and Unilever brands, with coverage in Forbes and on BBC News. Third, infrastructure: we broadcast 2000+ LIVE hours a month from 12 studios across London and Manchester, train and manage our own 250-host vetted roster, and built LiveHost, our presenter marketplace that scores talent on real GMV per hour rather than follower counts.
TikTok Shop is all we do. That focus shows up as a connected engine: daily and showcase LIVE, affiliate communities, content, paid media and full shop management run as one plan rather than separate retainers — the whole engine is laid out on our services page. The case studies carry the same pattern: a £10m+ month for P.Louise over BFCM, 650+ affiliates recruited in three months for MONAT's European launch, 1,470% launch-month shop-revenue growth for AKT and 400% in a year for Glow For It. The honest caveat: if you want one agency for TikTok, Meta, YouTube and brand campaigns together, we are not that agency, and some of the names below are. Judge us on the work.

Best for: brands that want TikTok inside a broader paid and organic social programme.
The Social Shepherd is one of the UK's best-known social media agencies, working with major consumer brands across paid social, creative production and influencer marketing, with TikTok as a core channel. Their strength is breadth: if your brief spans several platforms and blends brand building with performance, they are a serious multi-channel partner with a strong reputation and a substantial client roster. For a brief that is specifically TikTok Shop GMV, weigh any multi-channel agency against specialists on shop operations, LIVE capability and affiliate management depth.
Best for: global social campaigns with an influencer engine behind them.
Socially Powerful is a global social and influencer agency with UK roots and international offices. Their model centres on large-scale influencer activation and social-first creative across platforms, which suits brands running campaigns in multiple markets at once. For TikTok Shop specifically, ask any globally-oriented agency the same question: who on the team runs shop trading, LIVE broadcasts and affiliate operations day to day, and in which market?
Best for: Gen Z-focused influencer campaigns backed by a large media group.
Fanbytes built its name on Gen Z social marketing and TikTok influencer campaigns before being acquired by Brainlabs, one of the UK's largest independent media agencies. The combination gives brands creator-led creative with serious paid media infrastructure behind it. It is a strong option for awareness-led TikTok work; for commerce-led briefs, probe the depth of their TikTok Shop operations and LIVE selling experience against your revenue targets.
Best for: TikTok-first influencer marketing campaigns.
House of Marketers positions itself as a TikTok-first agency built around influencer marketing and TikTok advertising. That platform focus is genuinely valuable: teams that live inside TikTok's creative culture consistently out-perform generalists on content. As with any influencer-led agency, the question for a TikTok Shop brief is what happens after the video: affiliate programme management, shop trading, LIVE and fulfilment-adjacent operations are different disciplines from campaign delivery.
Best for: enterprise influencer programmes at international scale.
Goat is one of the largest influencer marketing agencies in the world, now part of WPP, and runs social-first campaigns for enterprise brands across markets. For global brands that need governance, scale and procurement-friendly process, that weight matters. For a UK TikTok Shop launch measured on GMV, the trade-off is the same as elsewhere on this list: enterprise campaign machinery versus specialist commerce operations. Some brands sensibly use both.
Best for: creator-led creative campaigns for global consumer brands.
Billion Dollar Boy is one of the best-known independent creator agencies, with offices in London and the US, working with major consumer brands on creator-led campaigns and creative. Its centre of gravity is the creative work itself: creator sourcing, briefing and production at a standard big brands can put their name to, which makes it a strong option when the brief is brand fame built through creators. For a TikTok Shop brief, apply the same test as everywhere else on this list: ask who would own the shop's revenue line, and what the team's daily involvement in trading, LIVE and affiliate operations would look like.
This is a shortlist, not a census. The UK also has capable boutique TikTok Shop operators, freelancer collectives and in-house teams for hire, and for a small brand testing the channel, a boutique can be the right first step. We have limited the list to agencies with an established UK presence and a track record you can research independently, because a listicle is only useful if every name on it can survive your own due diligence.
This list is the short version. The full UK guide covers scoping, commercial models, onboarding and the questions that expose a weak proposal, whatever agency you end up choosing.

Every agency on this list will present well in a pitch. The differences that decide your GMV twelve months later sit in five places, and none of them is the showreel. Put every shortlisted agency, ours included, through these five lenses and the field separates quickly.
| Lens | What a campaign shop offers | What a trading channel looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Services | Campaign delivery plus a commission link; TikTok Shop as an add-on | Someone owns the price file, bundle calendar, listings and the weekly trading rhythm |
| Results | Views, engagement rates, follower growth, one viral spike | GMV-denominated, dated, attached to brands you can contact, compounding month on month |
| Studios | A meeting room with a ring light | A working broadcast floor you can visit, running 40 to 80 LIVE hours a month |
| Talent | A presenter with a nice reel, booked per campaign | A managed roster, certified per SKU list, scored on GMV per hour, with bench depth |
| Platform tools | Learns about platform changes from LinkedIn | Partner status, direct TikTok contacts, own reporting that joins LIVE, affiliate and paid |
The five lenses at a glance. On mobile, the table scrolls sideways. Detail on each lens below.
TikTok Shop is five jobs run as one: shop operations and trading, affiliate management, LIVE, content and paid media. The first thing to establish is how many of those jobs an agency actually performs with its own team, and how many it re-badges. An influencer agency that "also does TikTok Shop" typically means campaign delivery plus a commission link. A commerce specialist means somebody owns the price file, the bundle calendar, the listing copy and the weekly trading rhythm. Neither is wrong, but they are different purchases: one buys you content about your products, the other buys you a managed revenue channel. Ask each agency to walk you through a normal Tuesday on an account like yours. The answer tells you which one they are faster than any capabilities slide.
Every agency has a results slide. The test is whether the numbers are GMV-denominated, dated and attached to brands you can contact. Views, engagement rates and follower growth are inputs; the outcome is revenue, and an agency that trades seriously will talk in single-LIVE figures, monthly GMV, affiliate revenue growth and AOV movement. Then check the shape of the proof: one viral spike eighteen months ago is a different claim from a portfolio compounding month after month. This is why we lead with the numbers we do: the $2.7m record LIVE is a dated, public, verifiable event, and the £100m+ GMV managed across 80+ brands is a portfolio claim you can test against the case studies behind it. Hold every agency on this list, including us, to exactly that standard.
LIVE is where TikTok Shop's biggest days happen, and it is a production discipline. Broadcasting 40 to 80 hours a month needs dedicated studios, sets that rotate weekly, lighting and camera infrastructure, and moderators and strategists in the room. That is a capital commitment most agencies have not made, and it is also the easiest claim on this page to verify: ask to visit. An agency with real studios will show you a working broadcast floor; an agency without one will show you a meeting room with a ring light. We run purpose-built studios in London and Manchester precisely because a daily LIVE engine cannot be improvised, and any specialist worth the fee should be able to put you in front of a live show on the day you visit. If LIVE is the capability you are actually buying, we wrote a dedicated guide to choosing a TikTok LIVE agency.
A LIVE programme is only as good as the person on screen, hour after hour. So ask where the hosts come from, how they are trained, and how they are measured. Booking a presenter with a nice reel is not the same as fielding a host who is certified on your SKU list, scored on GMV per hour and dropped from the roster if the numbers fade. The follow-up question matters just as much: how deep is the bench? A programme built on one great freelancer stops when that freelancer does. Our answer is a managed roster of 250 vetted hosts plus LiveHost, a marketplace that scores live talent on real selling performance rather than follower counts. Whoever you choose should have an answer of equivalent substance, in writing.
The platform moves monthly: GMV Max, Affiliate Centre changes, LIVE product features, category programmes. Agencies that sit close to TikTok, with partner status, direct account contacts and early access to betas, adapt in weeks; agencies that learn about changes from LinkedIn adapt in quarters. Ask what platform programmes the agency is enrolled in, which TikTok teams they speak to directly, and for a recent example of a platform change they turned into client GMV. Then ask about their own tooling: reporting that joins LIVE, affiliate and paid into one view of the funnel, creator CRMs, offer-modelling processes. The agencies that build tools tend to be the agencies that treat this as a discipline rather than a trend.
The framework above, condensed into the checklist we would use ourselves:
Whoever you shortlist, make them show you a live dashboard from a current client, anonymised if needed. Two minutes of real data beats an hour of showreel. And if you want to see ours, talk to us.
