Case study · Edikted

a us playbook rebuilt for the uk.

Edikted had already learned what works on TikTok Shop in the US. We re-engineered that playbook for UK behaviour and took the brand to £200k+ in 6 weeks, 90% affiliate-driven.

the challenge

Edikted is a US fashion brand that built its TikTok Shop presence at home first, and the US taught it a lot: which products move inside the feed, which angles stop a scroll, how a fashion audience behaves when the shop lives inside the entertainment. The UK was the obvious next market. It was also the obvious place to get complacent. Expansion playbooks fail when they treat a new market as a mirror. A UK audience follows different creators, shops at different hours and responds to different references. Copying US content into UK feeds would have meant paying to learn that the hard way.

the approach

We treated the US account as the research and the UK as the build. Rather than start from a blank page, we analysed Edikted's best-performing US content, creators and formats, then re-engineered them for UK TikTok behaviour, so the brand had speed to traction without diluting the fashion-forward, West Coast identity that already worked.

high-fit creator seeding and affiliate build-out

We identified and activated UK creators with genuine affinity for Edikted's aesthetic, then rolled out a clear, simple affiliate brief at scale to drive fast content adoption. Voices that already spoke to the British fashion buyer were prioritised over reach alone, so the account read as native rather than imported.

viral loop optimisation and rapid iteration

Once the first videos began to take off, we iterated aggressively on the winning hooks, creators and formats, scaling output while keeping the brand's tone under control. And LIVE gave the channel its rhythm, a regular cadence of broadcasts scheduled around UK evenings and run the way we run every LIVE: as a funnel, not a performance.

Underneath all three sat the trading discipline. We approach TikTok Shop as a trading channel first, so listings, offers and day-to-day operations were handled as full shop management rather than a content channel with a checkout attached.

the outcome

The UK shop reached £200k+ in GMV within 6 weeks of launch, with 90% of that revenue affiliate-driven and a £50 average order value that held even as volume scaled. Edikted's UK expansion now runs on its own engine: local creators, native content and a LIVE cadence built for the audience it is actually selling to, all informed by what the US had already proven. The learnings flow both ways. What the UK tests feeds back into the wider brand, which is what a second market should be: not a copy of the first, but a compounding source of new answers.
